This is Scott’s 19th camp in a row over the past 22 years, since Bill’s second year (Maryvale was renovated one year, and there were two years off for COVID). Scott grew up shooting the Baltimore Orioles, and was first on the diamond with a camera at age 14. Since, he has worked exclusively for Cal Ripken, Jr. and spent 8 years a team photographer for the San Diego Padres – when he covered Trevor Hoffman’s HOF Induction (pictured herein). Scott also spent time in Scottsdale, AZ and provided action photos to youth sports where he met Moose Haas at an Ice Skating facility. So, blame (or credit) Moose for introducing Scott to Bill when he first took over camp. Scott also shoots Spring Training in AZ for Topps/Fanatics and his favorite sport of basketball by covering all of the University of Texas Men’s and Women’s games in Austin, as well as half of San Antonio Spurs games. Scott also covers all Austin FC soccer games.
Rob
We are fortunate to have Rob at camp for the 4th year in a row. Rob brings a long resume of talented baseball photography and vast baseball knowledge to boot. Rob has worked for MLB for many years, and continues to contribute to Getty Images and Topps/Fanatics by shooting many Spring Training and regular season MLB games, after spending years with Pacific Trading Cards.
